Job Requirements

  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to complete sanitation course within the first year of employment

Job Duties

  • Create employee schedules and manage daily production tasks to ensure smooth kitchen functioning
  • Supervise staff performance to promote productivity, teamwork, and professional growth
  • Guide the food service team to ensure all operational and departmental guidelines are followed
  • Step in to cover for missing staff and maintain clear, regular communication with the entire team
  • Oversee food production to guarantee safety and excellence in line with company protocols
  • Ensure meals are served on time and follow menu requirements strictly
  • Maintain a hygienic workspace that complies with all health and safety laws
  • Accurately document food safety logs and temperature checks, taking corrective action when needed
  • Perform precise weekly inventory updates and manage stock effectively
  • Monitor equipment condition and suggest necessary repairs or upgrades
  • Ensure all food products are stored in a secure, organized, and hazard-free environment
  • Coordinate catering schedules to ensure timely delivery for special events
  • Be available for occasional evening or weekend functions and assist with cashier duties as needed
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Director on special projects and additional assignments
