This is a dynamic and hands-on supervisory position within the culinary operations team, ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments. The Culinary Supervisor reports directly above Senior Cooks and partners closely with Sous Chefs and Executive Chefs to ensure the seamless execution of daily food production, quality control, and safety compliance.

This position requires active participation in the kitchen workflow by leading culinary staff, overseeing production schedules, enforcing recipe and portion standards, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. The Culinary Supervisor also supports onboarding and continuous training to develop culinary team members' skills and operational knowledge.

Flexibility is key for this role, with varying shifts and open availability preferred to meet the demands of event-based and multi-outlet culinary operations. Candidates need to be capable of managing physical tasks such as lifting and moving food items and equipment. This role is well-suited for professionals who have a culinary background, prior leadership experience in kitchen settings, and a dedication to maintaining excellence in food service operations.

Joining Sodexo provides you with a supportive and flexible work environment where you can balance work with life’s important moments. The company invests in professional development, offering ongoing training, advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, holidays, medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, and retirement plans. Certain locations may also provide additional perks like shift meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support.

In summary, the Culinary Supervisor position at Sodexo presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace, grow your culinary leadership career, and play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding dining experiences.
