Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years culinary/kitchen experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability to work nights and weekends
  • Food Handler Certification (Basic Food Safety) required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years culinary/kitchen experience as a line cook
  • Advanced knife skills, frying, grilling expertise
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Food Handler Certification (Basic Food Safety)

Job Duties

  • Support the Culinary Manager and Assistant Manager in culinary operations
  • Ensure quality and standards are adhered to
  • Understand and apply Erewhon brand and café menu knowledge
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and production methods
  • Collaborate on daily requirements and inventory par levels
  • Monitor and test food quality and presentation
  • Complete end of day inventory and opening/closing duties
  • Maintain freshness and proper packaging of menu items from Commissary
  • Ensure proper food temperatures and storage
  • Assist in training and coaching kitchen staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
