Renowned for its entrepreneurial management style and an ownership mentality, Davidson Hospitality Group provides personalized service equivalent to that of a small company while leveraging the depth and expertise of a large organization. Their approach ensures that both guests and employees enjoy exceptional experiences. Davidson's business model is segmented into four specialized operating verticals: Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts, and Davidson Restaurant Group, each focused on delivering value to owners and enriching the lives of their team members.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Culinary Supervisor to join the Grand Bohemian Charleston team. In this dynamic role, the Culinary Supervisor will manage kitchen food service operations, working closely with a dedicated team of culinary professionals. This position requires a hands-on approach with demonstrated success as a cook, alongside strong leadership capabilities. The Culinary Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards, managing food inventory and costs, and overseeing the kitchen staff's daily activities.
Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing innovative menu items to continually enhance the guest dining experience. Beyond managing operations, the Culinary Supervisor will also play a critical role in training and mentoring culinary team members, ensuring productivity, cleanliness, and organization within the kitchen. Knowledge of cooking techniques applicable to both a la carte and banquet settings is essential, with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to various culinary scenarios. This role demands a passion for food, creativity, and a dedication to maintaining a top-tier culinary environment for guests and staff alike.
