Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Basic kitchen equipment operation and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to excellence and team development

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced food preparation techniques knowledge
  • Experience coaching and training cooks
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and log maintenance

Job Duties

  • Make sure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored to standards
  • Maintain all required logs and temperature checks accurately
  • Create positive associate relations leading to high engagement and low turnover
  • Lead team in a fair, firm, and consistent manner
  • Train team members and ensure up-to-date certifications
  • Coach cooks on food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment troubleshooting
