Their commitment to quality service and exceptional guest experiences defines their reputation in the hospitality industry. White Lodging understands the vital role hospitality plays in creating memorable experiences and is devoted to fostering an environment that promotes both professional growth and personal well-being for its employees.
The company is currently seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join the team at the Marriott Nashville. This role offers advanced scheduling flexibility through an app that allows you to swap or pick up shifts easily, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance while working in the dynamic food and beverage industry. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food preparation, quality, and presentation, ensuring compliance with all food safety protocols.
The Supervisor will oversee daily food production activities, including verifying that recipes are followed precisely, food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored, and all related logs and temperature checks are accurately maintained. This position demands leadership skills to foster positive associate relations, leading to high engagement and reduced turnover. You will be responsible for training your team, ensuring that all members are knowledgeable about expectations and have up-to-date certifications.
Additionally, the role requires advanced culinary skills, including expertise in food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment troubleshooting. You will coach and mentor cooks, guiding them toward developing their skills and maintaining an environment where every associate can thrive and perform optimally. Time management and delegation are essential competencies for this position, as is a relentless pursuit of culinary excellence and team development.
White Lodging offers a range of attractive benefits, including DailyPay available from day one, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, parental leave with bonding time for primary and secondary caregivers, affordable medical insurance with wellness care, unlimited referral bonuses, 401k with company match, paid vacation and time off with rollover options, company-paid short-term disability insurance, and a Medical Navigator service to assist employees in navigating healthcare services and reducing costs. The company's inclusive culture celebrates diversity and is committed to providing an equitable work environment for all associates.
