The role of Culinary Supervisor at Sodexo, based at the University of Southern Indiana, is a full-time position with a competitive pay range of $20 to $23 per hour. Working primarily during weekday morning shifts, this position plays a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and food service activities. As a Culinary Supervisor, you will be instrumental in coordinating routine work activities of culinary and service employees involved in diverse food operations including fast casual dining, coffee and counter services, cafeterias, events and banquets, casual dining, and cafes. This role requires a proactive approach to multitasking and quality oversight to ensure that food preparation and service meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

In this supervisory position, you will act as the management’s on-site representative, providing critical support and guidance to staff throughout the normal business day. Your responsibilities will include assisting with employee training and orientation, maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with food safety and customer service standards, and supporting problem resolution related to food quality and service. You will engage with customers to respond to feedback and address concerns, enhancing the overall dining experience.
