Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
  • Completion of sanitation training
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Effective conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • Completion of a sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • Skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Capability to manage emotions effectively under pressure
  • Skilled in resolving interpersonal conflicts

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • Supervise day-to-day food production tasks
  • Ensure food safety and quality according to established protocols
  • Maintain organized and hazard-free food storage areas
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and maintain equipment records
  • Monitor and assess staff performance
  • Provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • Maintain effective communication within the team
  • Participate in staff meetings and foster positive team relations
  • Oversee timely preparation and delivery of catering events
  • Perform cashier duties when required
  • Assist with additional tasks assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
