Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or culinary supervision preferred
- completed or obtainable sanitation certification
- strong communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- capability to manage a team and foster a collaborative environment
- commitment to food safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
- completion of a sanitation course prior to or within first year of employment
- skilled in managing food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
- ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to regulate emotions under pressure
- ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts effectively
Job Duties
- Scheduling tasks and managing production processes
- create and manage employee schedules
- compile production packets
- supervise day-to-day tasks to guarantee efficient functioning
- uphold high standards of food safety and quality
- maintain inventory records and manage equipment upkeep
- monitor and assess staff performance
- provide guidance and support to food service staff
- maintain safe and hazard-free working environment
- cover for absent staff when needed
- communicate regularly with employees
- participate in team meetings
- foster positive relationships and communication
- stay updated on catering schedules and ensure timely event preparation
- perform cashier duties
- assist with additional projects as assigned
