We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Supervisor to join the culinary team at the Little Rock Marriott. This role is pivotal in managing the kitchen's food service operations and leading a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Culinary Supervisor will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards for meal preparation, managing inventory, and controlling food costs effectively. This position demands a hands-on approach, requiring proficiency in both a la carte and banquet cooking techniques, along with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to various scenarios encountered in a busy hotel kitchen. Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage industry
  • at least six months experience in supervisory position
  • valid food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • fluency in English reading, writing and speaking
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • passion for culinary arts

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years experience in the food and beverage industry
  • at least six months to one year in a supervisory role
  • knowledge of wine and fine foods preferred
  • ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • valid food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • effective communication skills with public and team members
