As a Culinary Supervisor at Aramark, you will join a dedicated Food Services Team in a full-time role that is pivotal in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in food service operations
  • basic understanding of food safety and health regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to complete sanitation course if not already certified

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in interpreting and executing written and spoken directives
  • completion of sanitation course prior to or within the first year of employment
  • ability to manage food service programs to optimize costs and efficiency
  • capability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to manage stress and regulate emotions effectively
  • skill in resolving interpersonal conflicts
  • previous supervisory experience in food service is preferred

Job Duties

  • Create and manage employee schedules
  • compile production packets
  • supervise day-to-day tasks to ensure efficient operations
  • uphold food safety and quality standards
  • maintain proper food storage and sanitation
  • record and monitor food safety and temperatures
  • update inventory weekly
  • manage equipment maintenance records
  • conduct routine maintenance inspections
  • monitor and assess staff performance
  • provide guidance and support to food service staff
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • cover for absent staff as needed
  • communicate regularly with employees
  • participate in team meetings
  • foster positive relationships among team members and clients
  • coordinate catering schedules and event preparations
  • work occasional evenings and weekends for events
  • perform cashier duties
  • assist with projects assigned by Food Service Director or Manager
