The Culinary Supervisor role at Legends is vital to the daily effective operation of the kitchens within its venues. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef, the Culinary Supervisor is responsible for coordinating day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring that all food preparation tasks and service functions are executed to meet the high standards of quality and efficiency set by the company. This position demands a strong focus on maintaining sanitation, stock control, team collaboration, and adherence to safety and operational procedures. The Culinary Supervisor supports a fast-paced environment requiring leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations. The role involves overseeing food production timelines, preparing daily event sheets and reports, managing opening and closing duties, and ensuring that food handling and storage practices comply with company policies.

The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented setting, equipped with culinary training or extensive experience in high-volume, fine dining, or catering facilities. The ability to multitask efficiently and uphold professional standards in food preparation, guest interaction, and workplace safety is essential. This full-time position requires flexibility in working extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays in line with the venue’s event schedule. The Culinary Supervisor also plays an important role in fostering a safety culture by enforcing all safety policies, reporting unsafe conditions, and documenting incidents promptly to maintain a secure work environment. Job Requirements

  • Must have two to three years working in a fast paced high-end club or restaurant
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Professional training through a culinary education or working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility
  • Full service casual dining experience preferred
  • Ability to interact with co-workers
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered
  • Ability to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work all venue events including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Set up and prepare all food items
  • Opening and closing duties
  • Replenishment and rotation of stock as directed by the chef
  • Set up of non-food items for shift
  • Maintain high level of sanitation awareness and conscientiousness
  • Input daily event sheets and daily reports
  • Produce menu items in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards
  • Follow directions precisely and consistently
  • Maintain work area and proper food storage
  • Adhere to company guidelines and house rules
  • Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within arena
