The Food Service Supervisor role is a full-time position intended for motivated individuals ready to step up their careers and lead the way within their teams. Reporting to a manager who coordinates and leads operations, the Food Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily food service activities, managing staff, and ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are consistently met. This position calls for someone who can multitask efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment for both staff and customers. Supervisors lead by example and promote employee growth, teamwork, and morale while maintaining communication and coordination with various departments to deliver seamless food service operations.

This role also involves administrative duties such as producing work schedules, maintaining inventory and food safety logs, preparing production packets, and ensuring that equipment maintenance is conducted properly. Supervisors are tasked with training and mentoring food service workers, ensuring compliance with all health and safety codes, as well as foodservice policies. The ability to handle occasional night and weekend catering events is essential, supporting the company’s commitment to excellent customer experiences. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or supervisory role preferred
  • completion or willingness to complete sanitation course
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • ability to multitask and lead a team
  • basic math skills
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • emotional resilience under stressful conditions
  • understanding of health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production packets
  • direct daily activities

  • maintain accurate inventory weekly
  • prepare orders for accurate production
