This role is designed for culinary professionals with a passion for Japanese cuisine and sushi artistry. The Culinary Professional Artist will be responsible for crafting high-quality sushi dishes that meet the hotel’s exacting standards for flavor, presentation, and safety. This position requires a skilled sushi cook who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail and food safety protocols. The individual will be expected to create both traditional and innovative sushi offerings, selecting only the freshest ingredients and applying culinary techniques that highlight the artistry of sushi preparation. - Ability to handle raw fish and sharp tools safely
- Finger and hand dexterity to operate food machinery

- Valid Maricopa County Food Handler's Card
Job Qualifications
- Culinary training or apprenticeship preferred
- Certification in food handling and safety is a plus
- Experience working in a Japanese restaurant highly desirable
- Proven experience as a Sushi Cook or similar role
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Creativity and passion for Japanese cuisine
- Ability to communicate well in English
