Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Advanced knowledge of kitchen stations, roles, and equipment
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
  • Physical capability to lift, handle, and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to complete restaurant training program
  • Desire to learn and grow within the culinary field

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation and portioning

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, and assemble a variety of cold food items including salads, cold appetizers, and desserts
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef or Manager-on-Duty to ensure adherence to food preparation standards
  • Execute all food preparation standards to meet recipe specifications and quality requirements
  • Handle kitchen equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with inventory and restocking of food supplies
