Job Requirements
- Previous prep cook experience
- Preferred restaurant administrative experience
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Availability to work full-time Tuesday through Sunday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Ability to comply with safety procedures including use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Must be able to handle physical demands of the job
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous prep cook experience
- Preferred restaurant administrative experience
- Ability to follow established recipes and production requirements
- Knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP guidelines
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef
- Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Store, label and date all food items according to policy
- Follow HACCP guidelines
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner
- Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control
- Resolve customer concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
