Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous culinary experience in pastry or baking roles
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to teamwork and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • Professional culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant environment required
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen
  • strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
  • ensure consistency in food taste, presentation, and portioning
  • maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP requirements
  • support mise en place, prep schedules, and service execution across outlets
  • assist with banquet and special event food production as required
  • maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations at all times
  • follow proper storage, labeling, and FIFO inventory practices
  • minimize waste through accurate portion control and handling
  • communicate product shortages or quality concerns promptly
  • support a collaborative, respectful kitchen culture
