The Culinary Operations Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is critical to maintaining and elevating these standards within the kitchen environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant kitchen management
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • valid food handler certification

Job Duties

  • Overseeing the daily food production and preparation operations, ensuring adherence to established recipes and procedures
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies while overseeing cleanliness and guest safety in the restaurant
  • monitoring productivity to maintain efficient food preparation and service times
  • managing the performance of Back of House staff through evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • supporting the development of key employees by providing constructive feedback during regular one-on-one sessions
  • conducting line taste and temp checks to ensure inventory quality and kitchen safety
  • supervising the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all food items
