Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has been dedicated to delivering a modern yet relaxed dining atmosphere where guests can enjoy an exceptional menu perfectly paired with award-winning wines. Known for its commitment to quality and hospitality, this company boasts one of the largest wine clubs worldwide, offering exclusive benefits and unique experiences to its members. With the recent introduction of Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, the brand expands its culinary horizons by bringing the vibrant flavors of Rome to its guests, further enhancing its diverse offerings. Cooper's Hawk continues to grow as a destination that embodies the essence of Napa Valley lifestyle and exceptional dining in a warm, inviting setting.
As a Culinary Operations Manager at Cooper's Hawk, you will play a vital role in leading the culinary team in a high-energy scratch kitchen environment. Collaborating closely with the Executive Kitchen Manager, you will ensure the seamless execution of Cooper's Hawk's unique menu, thoughtfully paired with their exceptional wines, delivering an unforgettable dining experience for guests and Wine Club members alike. Your leadership will be key in overseeing multiple kitchen departments, maintaining the highest culinary and safety standards, and driving operational excellence. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills, a passion for culinary innovation, and the ability to foster effective communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams.
You will be directly involved in managing operational aspects including hiring, training, and developing kitchen staff. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, driving financial success through efficient preparation and production, managing inventory, and labor scheduling. You will assist in launching new menu items and supporting private events including themed Wine Club dinners, ensuring every dish meets Cooper's Hawk's prestigious standards. As a leader, you will cultivate a respectful and inclusive work environment, encouraging creativity and excellence within your team. Your role is pivotal in achieving the restaurant's overall objectives alongside the Executive Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
This position demands a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to deliver extraordinary guest experiences by motivating and guiding your team. The Culinary Operations Manager has the opportunity to influence a vibrant kitchen culture, promote team achievements, and contribute to the brand's growth and reputation. Cooper's Hawk values authenticity, active listening, and personalizing the guest experience which will be central to your daily contributions. The position is full-time and involves working flexible hours including weekends and holidays, with a focus on maintaining the exceptional standards that have made Cooper's Hawk a leader in the industry.
This role offers a competitive benefits package including comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and telehealth services, a 401(k) plan with company matching, health and flexible spending accounts, paid parental leave, paid time off, and discounts on dining, carryout, retail wine, and private events. Monthly complimentary wine tastings for two enhance the lifestyle brand experience for employees, reflecting Cooper's Hawk's commitment to well-being and career development.
