Job Description

Fresh Kitchen is an innovative fast-casual restaurant brand that is redefining the concept of fast food by focusing on real, wholesome food made from scratch. The company emphasizes using high-quality ingredients such as 100% pure olive oil, hand-cut vegetables, antibiotic and hormone-free meats, responsibly sourced seafood, and 100% gluten-free recipes to ensure every meal is delicious, nutritious, and made with care. Fresh Kitchen stands out as a leader in the fast food industry by maintaining high food quality standards and prioritizing sustainability and health-conscious options. Founded with a mission to challenge and transform the traditional fast food experience, Fresh Kitchen aims to grow to 100 remarkable restaurants by 2034, creating a lasting impact on people's food choices and dining experiences.

At Fresh Kitchen, the culture is built on a foundation of people-first values combined with a deep commitment to food quality and operational performance. The brand fosters a supportive and dynamic work environment where leaders are passionate about building teams, driving results, and maintaining the highest standards in all areas of the restaurant. The company seeks leaders who are hands-on, disciplined, and organized, with the ability to lead a kitchen team, uphold food safety practices, and continuously improve food quality and production efficiency.

The Culinary Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role within Fresh Kitchen’s back-of-house operations. This hands-on position is responsible for overseeing product quality, execution speed, kitchen flow, food safety, staffing, training, cost control, and labor deployment. The manager ensures that every bowl served meets the company’s high standards for consistency and taste during every shift. They are the primary leader driving kitchen culture, setting expectations for accountability, performance, and pride in ownership of the space.

Reporting directly to the Managing Partner and collaborating closely with the Assistant Culinary Manager and Restaurant Operations Manager, the Culinary Operations Manager acts as a partner in aligning back-of-house operations with front-of-house flow, online ordering, and catering volumes. The role demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to coach in real-time, and a strategic approach to managing costs and workflow. This position requires a strong leader who thrives under fast-paced conditions and is dedicated to continuous improvement, team development, and building systems that support efficient, high-quality food production.

Fresh Kitchen offers a unique opportunity to grow within a brand that values career development, offers competitive compensation, and supports a healthy work-life balance. The company’s values-driven culture promotes leadership growth, providing leaders with the resources and authority to make meaningful contributions. Employees enjoy benefits such as profit-sharing bonuses, healthcare plans, paid time off, and a vibrant work environment where their contributions have a tangible impact on the brand’s success. Joining Fresh Kitchen as a Culinary Operations Manager means becoming part of a company committed to excellence, innovation, and a long-term vision for growth and sustainability.
