Job Requirements
- must have 5+ years management experience in culinary or kitchen leadership
- must be comfortable leading in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
- must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must pass a background check
- must be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain
- physical ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours per shift
- able to work in varying temperature conditions
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years management experience as a chef, culinary manager, or kitchen manager
- strong back-of-house leadership skills with a passion for food and execution
- experience in a scratch kitchen or food-focused operation with high quality standards
- proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
- solid understanding of inventory, prep systems, and food cost controls
- strong communication and problem-solving skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certified or willing to obtain
- background check clearance
- culinary education or formal training is a plus
Job Duties
- lead the kitchen team and maintain high back-of-house standards every shift
- ensure food quality, speed, consistency, and kitchen flow
- uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- manage BOH staffing, coaching, accountability, training, and team development
- control inventory accuracy, pars, yields, and waste reduction
- create smart schedules and deploy labor efficiently
- partner with front-of-house and operations managers to align BOH execution with overall service flow
