The Culinary Operations Director role at Aramark is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing and directing culinary services to ensure alignment with customer preferences and dietary needs. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Four years of relevant experience
  • One to three years of leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Background in food service
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Capability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs intermittently

Job Qualifications

  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • At least 1-3 years in a leadership capacity
  • Background in food service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and customers

  • Ability to foster harmonious working relationships across divisions

Job Duties

  • Improve operational efficiency, manage costs, and oversee profits
  • Lead coordination and management of production, delivery, and catering services

  • Set up and manage processes for food acquisition, delivery, retention, cooking, and provision
  • Produce operational predictions and address disparities

  • Guide employees on production activities, merchandising, quality standards, cost monitoring, labor allocation, and training
  • Source, onboard, and retain front-line team associates
  • Conduct routine inventory audits
  • Maintain record-keeping in compliance with Aramark and regulatory standards
  • Communicate with client executives and maintain strong relationships
  • Engage in sales activities and contractual discussions
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new products and services to boost revenue and customer loyalty
