Job Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nutrition or approved Dietary Managers certificate
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nutrition experience
- State certification in food service sanitation required
- Certified Dietary Manager or willingness to obtain certification within six months
- Valid and current driver's license
- Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process
Job Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nutrition from an approved program or certificate from an approved Dietary Managers course
- Bachelor’s Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum of 3 years in clinical nutrition experience
- Food and Beverage Operations experience highly desirable
- State certification in food service sanitation
- Certified Dietary Manager or willingness to obtain certification within six months of appointment
- Valid and current driver's license
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to various therapeutic and texture-modified diets
- Collaborate with the Nutrition Services Manager to uphold nutritional adequacy and compliance with dietary orders
- Engage in food preparation, plating, and service in line with established menus and resident care plans
- Ensure adherence to sanitation and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards, conforming to local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, performance oversight, and employee relations
- Work with the Executive Chef to ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardization of ingredients, recipes, and menus
- Guarantee food is prepared and cooked to deliver a high-quality dining product
- Coordinate closely with the Nutrition Services Manager to collect pertinent nutritional information and accommodate residents' food preferences
