As a Restaurant Culinary Manager at Bonefish Grill, you will play a vital role in overseeing all back-of-the-house operations for an assigned restaurant location. This leadership position requires a passionate food professional dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences while managing kitchen staff, maintaining quality standards, and upholding strict safety and sanitation protocols. Job Duties
- Directing and checking the progress of the prep staff and checking for food quality and consistency
- Assisting in the hiring and training of back-of-the-house employees
- Implementing effective security protocols to always ensure the ongoing safety of both employees and guests
- Preparing kitchen equipment and production areas daily to boost productivity and reduce waste
- Ensuring compliance with operational, safety and sanitation standards, company policies, federal, state and local laws, and ordinances
- Verifying that all menu items are made according to recipe and presented to Bonefish Grill’s specifications
- Managing staffing levels and shift assignments
- Keeping kitchen, dish, and storage areas clean and organized
- Checking and balancing product inventory from previous day and placing food and supply orders
- Setting excellent customer service and work examples
