Job Requirements

  • Technical secondary school education or above
  • Major in cooking
  • Managerial experience of at least 5 years
  • Work experience of at least 10 years as chief in five-star hotel or office building preferred
  • Master in Chinese and western cuisine as well as various cuisines
  • Proficient use of MS Office
  • Certain ability in English
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Technical secondary school education or above with major in cooking
  • Managerial experience of at least 5 years in culinary operations
  • At least 10 years work experience as a chief in five-star hotels or office buildings for group meals preferred
  • Mastery in Chinese, Western and various cuisines
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Basic proficiency in English
  • Customer service oriented with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems
  • Leadership excellence with effective implementation skills
  • High integrity, sense of responsibility, enthusiasm and professional dedication

Job Duties

  • Follow the implementation of the ARAMARK Food Services program in accordance with standardized procedures
  • Design menu, prepare order and work out the food production procedure according to client and account manager requirements
  • Lead the whole food production in kitchen ensuring standardized production flow, food safety and quality
  • Make purchasing plan for food materials and manage inventory
  • Assist with account manager for cost control and waste reduction
  • Train and develop kitchen staff according to ARAMARK Job Skill Training and Review programs
  • Maintain internal communication and collaboration for smooth operations
  • Establish good communication with clients to meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Manage cook staffing, team building, evaluate performance and conduct appraisals
