Job Description

Topgolf Entertainment Group is a global sports and entertainment community that combines innovative technology with a fun and energetic atmosphere to provide guests with unforgettable experiences. As a leader in the entertainment industry, Topgolf offers a dynamic environment where guests can enjoy activities, food, and events in a lively, welcoming setting. The company prides itself on its core values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit, and Caring, all of which contribute to creating an engaging and rewarding workplace for its associates. Topgolf operates venues that blend competitive games with top-quality food and beverage services to create a one-of-a-kind social experience for individuals, families, and corporate groups alike.

The Culinary Manager role at Topgolf is a pivotal position within the team, designed for a professional who excels in both culinary management and team leadership. Working closely under the direction of the Executive Kitchen Manager, the Culinary Manager is responsible for supervising, training, coaching, and engaging the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to guests. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day culinary operations and may involve overseeing either the regular venue kitchen line or event execution. The Culinary Manager ensures that every dish served maintains consistent quality and presentation by standardizing recipes and monitoring kitchen processes diligently.

In addition to leading the culinary team, the Culinary Manager is tasked with operational responsibilities such as scheduling labor effectively, managing inventory and purchasing products, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and nurturing vendor relationships. A strong understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS) and labor cost management is essential for this role to keep food and labor expenses within budget. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for great food, and demonstrates excellent leadership skills that inspire and develop team members.

The Culinary Manager plays a critical role in menu planning, especially for special events and chef-curated menus, ensuring creativity and cost efficiency. This role also demands attention to the maintenance and proper operation of kitchen equipment to uphold safety and productivity. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a culture of culinary excellence aligned with Topgolf’s mission and values.

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $51,700 to $63,100 and is perfect for culinary professionals seeking to advance their careers in a vibrant and supportive environment with opportunities for growth. Topgolf also provides comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, access to a mental well-being platform, and unique perks like free play and half-price food for team members who qualify. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards Topgolf guests expect and ensuring the kitchen team’s success in delivering a memorable dining experience.
