Job Description
CookUnity is a pioneering food technology company dedicated to reconnecting individuals with the authentic source of great food: talented chefs. Founded in 2018, CookUnity has established itself as a groundbreaking platform that revolutionizes the way meals are delivered and experienced. Unlike traditional delivery services, CookUnity focuses on delivering fresh, ready-to-eat meals crafted by some of the industry’s best chefs. Each year, the company successfully delivers over 50 million meals to homes across the United States, ensuring that every dish is made with the passion and care that nourishes both body and soul. The company’s mission is to empower chefs and transform the global food landscape by expanding beyond meal delivery into a dynamic marketplace that fosters innovation and culinary excellence.
CookUnity's fast-growing presence in the food industry relies heavily on operational excellence, culinary expertise, and a deep commitment to quality. To support its ambitious growth plans and uphold its high standards, CookUnity is seeking a dedicated Culinary Manager to join its team. This role is pivotal in driving the day-to-day operations of both the kitchen and marketplace realms. The Culinary Manager will collaborate closely with the Market Director and Operations Manager to spearhead business growth and ensure seamless execution of processes. A key aspect of this position involves leading a diverse team of associates and supervisors, ensuring they are well-equipped, trained, and motivated to deliver exceptional results.
The Culinary Manager will have a hand in multiple facets of facility operations, including optimizing workflows in the kitchen and marketplace, guaranteeing food safety, and maintaining quality control across all stages of food production. The successful candidate will be a vital partner to the chef community, working alongside the Chef Success team to implement innovative menu strategies and ensure recipe accuracy and consistency. Additionally, this role involves strategic financial oversight including forecasting and managing labor and food costs to drive efficient operations.
This position is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in food manufacturing or high-volume commercial kitchens who possess strong leadership capabilities. The role demands a hands-on approach, outstanding communication, and exceptional organizational skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment marked by continuous change. Interested candidates can expect a competitive salary range between $62,562 and $77,500, commensurate with experience, making this role both challenging and rewarding.
By joining CookUnity, Culinary Managers become part of a visionary company committed to changing how people eat and how chefs work, with a dedication to sustainability, quality, and innovation in food production. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization that values professional growth, creative collaboration, and community impact.
