Within this dynamic organization, the Culinary Manager plays a pivotal role. This position is integral to overseeing culinary operations within Aramark's food service establishments, emphasizing high standards in kitchen management and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Culinary Manager leads and motivates kitchen staff ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences that align with Aramark's quality benchmarks. This role involves hands-on leadership with a focus on staff development, culinary innovation, safety compliance, and client relationship management.
The Culinary Manager not only manages day-to-day kitchen activities but also contributes directly to menu and recipe development. They forecast food requirements accurately, manage procurement, and standardize recipes to maintain quality and consistency in presentation. Additionally, they ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and that safety and sanitation standards comply with regulatory requirements. The role requires a minimum of 2 to 3 years of culinary experience with post-high school education or equivalent professional experience, preferably with a culinary degree.
