Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing kitchen operations and personnel
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, scheduling, and budgeting

  • Experience conducting performance reviews and cross-training staff
  • Familiarity with seasonal menu planning and product sourcing
  • Ability to maintain detailed maintenance and inventory records

Job Duties

  • Write and manage kitchen schedules in alignment with labor budgets
  • Enforce high standards for cleanliness, food quality, and safety
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and cost control
  • Hire, train, and support kitchen staff, fostering ongoing development
  • Conduct performance and station reviews, providing clear feedback
  • Track waste, monitor prep and line checks, and manage ticket times
  • Communicate effectively regarding menu updates and product changes
  • Maintain cleaning schedules and equipment maintenance records
