Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years as a culinary manager executive chef or similar leadership role in a full-service restaurant
- Thoughtful leaders confident decision-makers and quality-focused
- Able to effectively manage staff
- A true passion for food and food preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and replicate food production procedures
- Experience with cost control budgeting inventory control and scheduling
- Knowledge of business process and functions
- Excellent motivation and communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving mind set
- Daytime weekend and intermittent evening event availability
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership communication and team management skills
- Ability to manage food costs effectively
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment including evenings weekends and holidays
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation presentation and service
- Develop new and inspiring dishes for the menu
- Manage and train culinary staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
- Control food costs inventory and ordering to optimize profitability
- Collaborate with management on event planning and special menus
- Maintain high standards of food quality consistency and guest satisfaction
- Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed
