BHN is currently seeking a Culinary Line Cook to join its Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program team. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of food service that contribute to the therapeutic environment of the program. The Culinary Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to approved menus, recipes, and portion standards, ensuring not just nutrition but also the quality and presentation of the food served. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- experience in a high volume culinary setting preferred, especially in SUD, long-term care, or health care
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- capability to work flexible hours as needed
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- strong attention to detail
- positive attitude and reliability
