We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Culinary Line Cooks to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build or advance their culinary careers in a fast-paced environment. As a Culinary Line Cook at SSP America, you will be instrumental in preparing delicious dishes, maintaining high standards of food quality, and creating memorable dining experiences that align with our company’s reputation for excellence. The position offers competitive pay starting at $17.00 per hour plus tips, flexible working hours with open availability from 4 AM to 11 PM, and comprehensive benefits including medical options for employees and their families, a 401K plan with an excellent company match, free parking, and delicious employee meals. The Culinary Line Cook will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and organization, following recipes with precision and maintaining portion control to uphold consistency and quality. They will be responsible for stocking ingredients and supplies, handling and rotating food products properly to ensure freshness, and performing cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving kitchen environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior kitchen or line cook experience preferred
  • availability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
  • ability to stand for extended periods

  • willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Following recipes accurately and maintaining portion control for the dishes
  • ensuring the kitchen/station setup is efficient and organized
  • requisitioning and stocking all necessary food and condiments
  • properly handling, storing, and rotating products
  • maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • managing the stock and quality of perishables
  • completing checklists for opening, ongoing, and closing tasks
  • taking ownership of the quality of the food served
  • performing general cleaning tasks to comply with health standards
  • carrying out other duties as assigned
