We are currently seeking a Culinary Director/Executive Chef who is passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences to the seniors we serve. This role is key in managing all culinary operations within our community, combining leadership, creativity, and operational skills to enhance the dining experience of our residents. The Culinary Director will be responsible for overseeing food production, inventory control, sanitation practices, and team management while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires a high level of customer service, with an emphasis on meeting individual dietary and preference needs of residents.
The ideal candidate will lead a culinary team in creating a fine dining experience tailored to the tastes of seniors, ensuring meals are both nutritious and appealing. The role involves managing budgets, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen. Job Requirements
- Criminal record clearance
- Pass health screenings including physical, TB, and drug tests
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Fully vaccinated against Covid 19 or willing to become vaccinated
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety in kitchen environment
- Compliance with state and local regulations
- Availability to work in assisted living or memory care setting
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in culinary management
- Knowledge of food safety standards
