Job Duties
- Assist in the production kitchen with food flow from receiving to serving during banquet events
- Follow standard operating procedures for storing, cooking, cooling, and reheating food safely
- Fill out daily logs on temperature control for walk-in coolers, freezers, and food items
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by adhering to sanitation policies and cleaning work areas
- Assist with food preparation and execution of events as directed by the chef de cuisine
- Support classroom food needs related to catering, such as snack preparation and food pairing
- Use various cooking techniques, knife cuts, and butchery skills following recipes
- Assist with dessert production for events
- Attend scheduled work activities and programs as assigned
