We are currently hiring part-time Culinary Cooks, Assisted Living Cooks, and Senior Living Cooks for Aspire Oshkosh who desire to join a thriving team passionate about delivering exceptional food service to residents in a senior living setting. This role is crucial in ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing meals tailored to their dietary needs. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of executive and sous chefs, adhering strictly to menus, recipes, and health regulations while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. The position offers flexible scheduling with shifts that end no later than 7 PM, and employees benefit from Sunday shift differentials with an additional $1.00 per hour, immediate on-demand pay access, and a variety of comprehensive benefits including 401k with company match, medical, vision, dental, and life insurance. Open interviews take place every Monday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, making it convenient to explore this rewarding opportunity. Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • high school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
  • must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff
  • adhere to menus and recipes, special dietary needs, correct portioning of food, food presentation, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef
  • attend to residents’ individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders from residents and their guests
  • maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity of our residents
  • work under the supervision of and take instruction from the executive chef and sous chef
