We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook Supervisor to join our vibrant kitchen team. This role operates within a fast-paced environment that requires culinary expertise, leadership, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and safety. This position is full-time with a starting pay rate of $19 per hour, reflecting our dedication to investing in talented individuals who contribute to our success.
The Line Cook Supervisor will play an integral role in overseeing the preparation of all menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and yield guides to maintain consistency and quality. In this capacity, you will direct, train, and monitor the performance of line cooks working alongside you, helping them to develop their skills and achieve operational excellence. Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment is essential to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment. The role involves assigning production and prep work, reviewing priorities, and communicating changes and additions throughout the shift to keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will be responsible for setting up workstations with all necessary mise en place, tools, equipment, and supplies before each shift and ensuring a thorough breakdown and closing of stations at the end of the day. Close coordination with the Sous Chef is required, as you will need to inform them of any supplies that need to be requisitioned to meet the demands of daily tasks. This position demands a high level of professionalism, teamwork, initiative, and flexibility to support a dynamic culinary operation that delights guests with memorable dining experiences.

Job Requirements
- Experience as a line cook at a hotel or restaurant
- Ability to work all stations on the line
- Food handling certification required

Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides
- Directs, trains, and monitors performance of Line Cooks
- Maintains organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete
- review priorities
- Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift
- Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies
- Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties at the end of last shift of the day
- Inform the Sous Chef of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day’s tasks
