The Culinary Concessions Supervisor role at Delaware North Sportservice is a dynamic, part-time position based at the TD Garden in Boston. The supervisor will oversee culinary concessions operations during events, ensuring not only the delivery of high-quality food but also compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. As a Culinary Concessions Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising all team members engaged in food preparation and concessions service, ensuring that all food production meets the high standards of quality Delaware North is known for. You will maintain organized and sanitary kitchen workspaces such as walk-ins and freezers, oversee proper food storage practices, and assure that all kitchen equipment functions correctly. Your role includes performing opening and closing duties along with side work responsibilities, monitoring food costs to stay within set parameters, and collaborating closely with both your team and restaurant managers to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Working in this role requires not only culinary skills but also leadership abilities, effective communication, and attention to detail. Supervisory experience is essential as the position oversees multiple team members in a lively, event-driven atmosphere. Physical stamina is required to perform tasks such as lifting heavy pans and remaining on your feet for extended periods. This position does not require a college degree but does require at least two years of line cook experience including supervisory duties. Job Duties

  • Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meets quality standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working order
  • Effectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food
  • Perform opening, closing and side work duties
  • Actively work to maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership
  • Partner with team members and restaurant managers to satisfy guests
