Job Description

Oak View Group is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. With a comprehensive and unmatched 360-degree solution set, Oak View Group manages a collection of world-class venues and serves an elite roster of clients that includes some of the most influential and highest attended arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions worldwide. Known for its dedication to excellence and innovation, Oak View Group continually sets the standard for operational and guest experience in the live event and hospitality marketplace. The company is recognized for its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, uniquely positioning itself to deliver vibrant and memorable experiences while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. As a cornerstone of the live entertainment ecosystem, Oak View Group not only focuses on the venues but also prioritizes the people who bring these experiences to life.

The role of Culinary Carvery Cook is a crucial position within Oak View Group's hospitality team. This is a dedicated station role located at the Carvery action station, where the culinary professional prepares and serves freshly carved premium roast meats directly to guests. Unlike other kitchen roles requiring rotation, the Culinary Carvery Cook is the expert carver responsible for all carving duties from the initial setup, throughout service, to the station's closing. This specialization allows the cook to focus on delivering high-quality, consistent portions of turkey, brisket, and roast beef to enhance guest satisfaction. The position pays an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $18.50 and is a part-time role that includes benefits such as access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. As an evergreen role with ongoing application acceptance, it offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to contribute their culinary skills in a dynamic, event-driven setting.

Working as a Culinary Carvery Cook at Oak View Group means being part of a team that values punctuality, cleanliness, food safety, and effective communication within the kitchen and service areas. Responsibilities extend beyond carving to maintaining sanitary conditions, appropriately storing food items to prevent cross-contamination, and collaborating with kitchen staff and management to ensure service runs smoothly. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented approach, as the cook is an essential player in delivering an outstanding dining experience during high-attendance events. The company supports its employees with comprehensive food safety certifications and encourages continued learning and teamwork. With a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion, Oak View Group strives to foster a respectful and supportive work environment where every employee feels valued and empowered to contribute their best.
