Job Requirements
- High volume banquet and catering experience preferred
- previous experience in high volume, upscale, from-scratch kitchen highly desired
- positive and team-oriented attitude required
- prior hotel experience preferred
- flexible availability for shifts
- ability to follow directions and maintain safe food handling practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous high volume banquet and catering experience preferred
- experience in high volume, upscale, from-scratch kitchen highly desired
- positive and team-oriented attitude required
- prior hotel experience preferred
- strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- ability to follow directions and work in a team environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute items needed for banquet functions
- demonstrate comprehensive knife skills
- apply multiple cooking techniques including grill, sauté, boil, steam, braise, and saucier
- follow directions from supervisors and assimilate feedback
- maintain constant communication with team members and supervisors
- follow daily checklists and report issues to management
- ensure safe food handling and sanitation at all times
