Job Requirements

  • High volume banquet and catering experience preferred
  • previous experience in high volume, upscale, from-scratch kitchen highly desired
  • positive and team-oriented attitude required
  • prior hotel experience preferred
  • flexible availability for shifts
  • ability to follow directions and maintain safe food handling practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous high volume banquet and catering experience preferred
  • experience in high volume, upscale, from-scratch kitchen highly desired
  • positive and team-oriented attitude required
  • prior hotel experience preferred
  • strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • ability to follow directions and work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute items needed for banquet functions
  • demonstrate comprehensive knife skills
  • apply multiple cooking techniques including grill, sauté, boil, steam, braise, and saucier
  • follow directions from supervisors and assimilate feedback
  • maintain constant communication with team members and supervisors
  • follow daily checklists and report issues to management
  • ensure safe food handling and sanitation at all times
