This job opening is for a contingent, fixed-term high school teacher position, contracted through a local school district in one of the counties of Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy, or Washington. The role involves teaching MCC Culinary Arts dual credit courses to high school students at their home high schools. These dual credit courses allow high school students to earn college credits while completing their secondary education, providing an excellent bridge to college-level culinary training. The position requires delivering MCC course objectives within the high school environment and maintaining alignment with the academic rigor expected on MCC's campus. Job Requirements
- Currently employed high school teacher under contract with local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties
- Relevant associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in culinary arts or related field
- Minimum experience as specified by education level, including management or professional culinary positions
- Commitment to uphold professional and ethical standards
- Ability to deliver MCC-aligned curriculum in a dual credit classroom
- Willingness to complete required curriculum training

- Associate’s degree in field with 8 years full-time related experience in field, 4 of which must be in a management/professional level culinary position
- Associate’s degree in field with a Bachelor’s degree in any field and 4 years full-time related experience in field
- Bachelor’s degree in field and 2 years full-time related experience in field at management level position
- Master’s degree in field and 2 years full-time related experience in field
- Currently employed high school teacher under contract with a local school district in Douglas, Dodge, Sarpy or Washington counties
