The Food Service Worker position at Quad is a full-time, day shift opportunity that plays a vital role in the Cafeteria’s operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving both hot and cold foods, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. This role involves a variety of tasks including replenishing food items, managing food stations such as the grill, and assisting with plant catering functions. The role requires multitasking abilities, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
With a schedule from 6am to 2pm and a rotating weekend shift, this position offers a consistent day shift structure that allows for work-life balance. Quad supports its employees through comprehensive training, including the responsibility for training new food service workers to maintain quality and efficiency across the team. The Food Service Worker must be able to adhere to food safety regulations, including maintaining Serve Safe Manager Certification, and should demonstrate strong communication skills, customer service focus, and the ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs
- replenish food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels
- maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, co-workers
- adhere to Quad safety policies and food safety sanitation procedures
- assist in setting up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables
- break down, clean, and sanitize work stations
- multitask while providing high customer service and food quality in a fast-paced environment
- produce food and serve customers at a grill station
- train new food service workers as needed
- assist with production plant catering functions including cleaning, stocking shelves, washing dishes, pots and pans
