The company specializes in offering tailored logistics services to the bulk wine market, ensuring seamless delivery and effective coordination between suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Headquartered in Houston, TX, Hillebrand Gori is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, dynamic culture that promotes professional growth, diversity, and development. The company values teamwork and is focused on delivering high-quality services that meet both regulatory standards and market demands.
The role of Bulk Wine Logistics Coordinator (Customer Service Representative) is essential for maintaining and enhancing Hillebrand Gori's reputation as a market leader in bulk wine logistics. The position is full-time located in Houston, TX, offering a competitive total compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually based on experience. This role is designed for candidates with a strong background in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management and who have experience navigating the complexities of freight forwarding, including handling hazardous materials and ISO compliance.
In this position, the Bulk Wine Logistics Coordinator will provide vital administrative support to the contact center programs and activities. The incumbent will manage multiple communication channels such as inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, web-based chats, and instant messaging to respond to customer inquiries, process orders, handle service requests, and resolve complaints efficiently. The coordinator acts as a liaison among bulk operations, sales, procurement teams, and customers, ensuring that operations run smoothly and customer satisfaction is maximized.
The coordinator will be responsible for processing orders and ensuring compliance with customs requirements by managing documentation, coordinating cargo availability, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and executing billing procedures accurately. They will monitor shipment status daily, review measurement standards, and proactively report any non-conformities. Maintaining updated and complete operational tables, assisting with accounting tasks, issuing requests for quotes, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of communications are also critical duties.
Moreover, the coordinator will facilitate order alignment among the customer, sales, and operations teams, investigate and resolve chargebacks and shipping discrepancies, manage customer credits and debits, and catalog regional assortments as well as international special projects. The role requires close coordination with other departments and regional offices to ensure actions on critical order conditions are actively taken. Expanding system functionality to incorporate additional users and improving order materials will be part of the continuous improvement responsibilities.
This position demands strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks under deadlines, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and familiarity with transportation management systems and Hillebrand's proprietary systems. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as well as the capacity to communicate clearly and effectively while operating computers and office equipment, are necessary for success in this role. The company also promotes a hybrid work environment to enhance flexibility and work-life balance.
Working at Hillebrand Gori means benefiting from a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary and bonus incentives, health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), a generous paid time off (PTO) plan including sick days and floating holidays, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. The company’s inclusive culture and commitment to employee growth make it a highly attractive workplace for logistics professionals passionate about advancing their careers in bulk wine and freight forwarding logistics.
