Job Requirements
- At least five years of recent experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef de Partie
- A Certified Pastry Chef designation or equivalent degree in Culinary Arts
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Willingness to live and work onboard for extended periods
- Ability to work a demanding schedule of 70-84 hours a week with limited time off
- Willingness to adhere to Disney Cruise Line appearance standards
- Agreement to share a cabin with fellow crew members
- Hold a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa
- Complete a pre-employment medical examination
- Provide a criminal background check
- Bring approved work footwear
- Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of recent experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Chef de Partie
- A Certified Pastry Chef designation or equivalent degree in Culinary Arts
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations on ships
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality products consistently
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Willingness to live and work onboard for extended periods
- Ability to work a demanding schedule of 70-84 hours a week with limited time off
- Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment focused on guest service
- Flexibility regarding tasks and work locations

Job Duties
- Support the Executive Pastry Chef in implementing and refining all onboard menu items
- Craft a variety of desserts, cakes, and pastries for our restaurant offerings
- Assist in setting up buffet displays
- Guide and train crew members in pastry and dessert preparation techniques
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure compliance with all opening and closing procedures
- Lead pastry staff training on allergy and dietary requirements in alignment with company guidelines
- Ensure the proper handling of special dietary meals and food allergies for both guests and crew
- Manage and review the daily responsibilities of the kitchen team
- Strive to exceed guest expectations while maintaining safety and quality standards, addressing any issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with Disney Cruise Line sanitation standards in all areas of work
- Monitor food presentation and preparation standards for our menus
- Create showpieces and special request items as required
- Engage in all job duties related to Castaway Cay as directed by leadership
- Be flexible and willing to perform additional duties as needed
- Adhere to company policies, maritime regulations, and safety protocols
- Participate in emergency duties as outlined in the ship’s safety plan
