The Crowne Plaza Hotel Seattle - Downtown is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join their dynamic team. In this vital position, the Housekeeping Supervisor acts as a behind-the-scenes hero, ensuring every guest’s stay is spotless and unforgettable. This role requires leading a hardworking team, managing daily operations, and stepping in efficiently when the Housekeeping Manager is unavailable. The supervisor oversees the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities to meet and exceed brand cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the standard for cleanliness, guest comfort, and welcoming ambiance throughout the hotel.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be key in directing and motivating Room Attendants and House Attendants with clear communication, effective training, and a positive leadership style. Responsibilities include daily operations management such as inspections, productivity monitoring, reporting, quality control, and guest service recovery. You will handle sensitive tasks such as managing lost-and-found items, maintaining key control, and overseeing access to secure areas, ensuring safety and security standards are always met.

This role demands someone with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment without compromising on service excellence and attention to detail. The Housekeeping Supervisor must demonstrate proven ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance and attendance. Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work all shifts including AM, PM, overnight coverage, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous hotel housekeeping supervisory experience required
  • Strong experience inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and ensuring brand cleanliness standards are met
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and direct housekeeping associates assigned to designated floors or sections
  • Experience managing daily room assignments, productivity, quality control, and guest service recovery
  • Ability to train new associates and hold team members accountable for performance and attendance standards
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College coursework in a related field is a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel or related field
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and direct housekeeping associates
  • Experience inspecting guest rooms and public areas to meet brand cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service excellence

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations including inspections, reports, and productivity checks
