Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • ability to follow safety and operational standards
  • willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
  • ability to convey information and ideas clearly
  • ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards as required by scheduling
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing proper uniform and name tag
  • comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
  • thoroughly clean and restock required number of guest rooms per shift
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for cart setup
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms
  • perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by supervisor or manager
  • disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to conduct deep cleaning as needed
  • conduct deep cleaning tasks such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, repairing furniture, or rehanging doors
  • access back of house areas and sensitive information
  • interact with guests and colleagues occasionally unsupervised
  • control access to sensitive areas including master keys, liquor rooms, and secured file cabinets
  • maintain a high level of trust and responsibility
  • represent the company with good character and sound judgement
