The Crowne Plaza Hotel Seattle - Downtown is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team in a housekeeping capacity. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality for which the hotel is known. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms are meticulously cleaned and restocked in a timely manner, contributing to the overall positive guest experience.
In this role, employees will approach each encounter with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner, embodying the values and professionalism that the hotel upholds. Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag, is expected to represent the brand positively. Employees must comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the property.
Housekeeping responsibilities include completing all pre-cleaning duties such as preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens for the housekeeping cart setup. Thorough cleaning of guest rooms, removal of trash and dirty linens, and occasional deep cleaning tasks are part of daily duties. Deep cleaning may involve activities such as changing AC filters, cleaning coils, touching up paint, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors. The position might require disassembling furniture or room items to conduct these thorough cleanings effectively.
Given the nature of the role, employees will have access to back-of-house areas and sensitive information, including master keys and secured storage areas like liquor rooms or file cabinets. Therefore, a high level of trust, responsibility, and sound judgment is paramount for those in this position. The ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, especially under stressful, high-pressure situations, is essential.
