The organization hiring for the Operations Coordinator position is a multi-campus church and school community dedicated to fostering ministry, education, and community events within well-maintained, safe, and welcoming environments. This role involves supporting the Campus Operations Director in managing the daily operational tasks across the campuses. The Operations Coordinator is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of various administrative, logistical, and operational areas, including facility use management, safety oversight, custodial coordination, IT support, and environmental upkeep. The position demands exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects efficiently. A key element of the role is turning strategic plans into actionable steps, helping to maintain an environment that is not only functional but also inspiring for ministry, education, and events.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for tracking and maintaining budgets, managing vendor relationships, scheduling facility usage including special events like weddings, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. They also contribute to the upkeep and aesthetic quality of the campuses, coordinating with maintenance and custodial teams to uphold high standards. Additionally, the coordinator supports IT infrastructure needs by overseeing vendor communications and documentation of technical equipment and access points.
Operating independently and as part of a team, the coordinator must be a self-starter who identifies opportunities to improve campus operations and resolves challenges proactively. The role requires a high level of administrative proficiency with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suites and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The position also involves substantial communication responsibilities, interfacing with internal staff, external vendors, and community members.
This is a non-exempt position classified under Pay Grade 4 and includes a cell stipend of $75 per month as part of the compensation package. The role requires physical capability to navigate the entire campus environment, including stairs, outdoor grounds, and parking lots, and to occasionally lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school graduate or above
- associates degree in related field or 2 or more years work experience in related field preferred
- 1-3 years administrative experience preferred
- working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Duties
- Assists in tracking and maintaining campus operations budgets
- coordinates purchasing, invoices, and vendor communication
- maintains organized records of facility use and operational needs
- directly handles the call and scheduling of rentals including weddings
- supports the creation and maintenance of event schedules
- helps identify and resolve conflicts
- helps coordinate logistics for events including room setup, breakdown, and support needs
- assists with facility use agreements and communication with external groups
- helps manage and organize campus storage areas
- supports implementation of safety policies and procedures
- assists with incident reporting and documentation
- helps coordinate safety drills, inspections, and compliance requirements
- maintains communication with security vendors and partners as directed
- assists in maintaining safety documentation and systems including surveillance and keys
- helps maintain the overall look and feel of campus environments
- assists with room setup, furnishings, and minor design implementation
- identifies and communicates areas needing improvement
- coordinates with maintenance and custodial teams to maintain campus standards
- supports scheduling and coordination of custodial services
- assists in maintaining cleanliness standards across campus
