This job opportunity is with an independent franchisee operating a McDonald's restaurant. Unlike McDonald's USA, which owns the brand and licenses out its logos and products, this franchisee is a separate entity responsible for all employment matters at its restaurant. This includes hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling of employees. Essentially, if hired, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
