Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that stands out by redefining the traditional fast food experience. Founded on the principles of serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients, Chipotle rejects the use of artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. With a presence across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe, uniquely owning and managing its locations rather than franchising. This hands-on approach has made Chipotle a leader and innovator within the food industry, championing sustainability and ethical practices. Chipotle continually evolves by integrating digital technology and sustainable business models, making better food accessible to everyone while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality and responsibility.

Chipotle is more than just a restaurant; it is a place where employees enjoy rewarding careers built on clear training and advancement paths. Over 80% of Chipotle’s managers were promoted from crew members, illustrating the company’s dedication to internal growth and employee development. The company rejects the conventional fast-food model—there are no freezers, microwaves, or can openers used in the restaurant. Instead, everything is prepared fresh daily, by hand, including all the grill items, salsas, and preps. As a Chipotle team member, you will receive comprehensive training to confidently work at any station such as grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo. The focus is not only on food quality but also on delivering exceptional customer service. Every team member plays a crucial role in creating the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that customers appreciate.

The Crew Member role at Chipotle is ideal for individuals at various experience levels, whether you have prior experience in food service roles such as dishwasher, cashier, server, host, bartender, cook, or are entering the workforce for the first time. Chipotle values passion, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn above all, making it an inclusive opportunity for anyone interested in joining a vibrant team. The employment opportunity offers full and part-time options, competitive compensation, and a suite of benefits designed to support employees both on and off the job. These benefits include tuition assistance covering 100% for select degrees or up to $5,250 annually, free meals during shifts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, and opportunities for professional growth.

Joining Chipotle means contributing to the mission of cultivating a better world through better food, supporting sustainable agriculture, and inspiring positive change. The company fosters a people-first culture grounded in values of respect and fairness, committing to equal employment opportunities without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any protected characteristic. The Crew Member role not only offers a job but a chance to be part of a growing movement aimed at reshaping the future of the food industry and making real food accessible to all. If you bring a friendly attitude, enthusiasm for helping others, a desire to learn culinary skills, and meet the minimum age requirement of 16, Chipotle welcomes you to apply and join their team in creating exceptional food experiences every day.
