Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a globally recognized leader in the fast-casual dining industry, known for its commitment to serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients. Founded on the mission to cultivate a better world, Chipotle has set itself apart by rejecting typical fast-food norms in favor of quality and sustainability, prioritizing transparency and integrity in all aspects of its operations. With a footprint that spans the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is unique among large restaurant chains in owning and operating all its locations, ensuring consistently high standards and a uniformly exceptional customer experience across North America and Europe.

Chipotle is dedicated to creating a better food experience by innovating in food preparation and enhancing guest interaction. The company focuses on eliminating artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives from its menu, and actively supports sustainable farming practices to contribute positively to the environment and local communities. With technology-driven initiatives, including digital ordering and contactless payments, Chipotle continues to lead the fast-casual segment in both customer convenience and operational efficiency.

The role at Chipotle offers much more than a traditional job; it is an entry point to a rewarding career path with numerous opportunities for growth and advancement. The company values the enthusiasm and passion of its team members, whether they are new to the food industry or bring prior experience from roles such as dishwashing, cooking, customer service, or bartending. Comprehensive training is provided for new employees to master every station within the restaurant, including grilling, cashiering, food preparation, salsa creation, and expo duties, empowering them to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to a friendly atmosphere.

Chipotle’s culture is built on the belief that a great place to work results in exceptional guest experiences. More than 80% of Chipotle’s managers have risen through the ranks, starting as crew members and growing within the company through dedicated career development programs. Whether working part-time or full-time, employees benefit from a supportive environment that encourages learning and professional advancement.

The employment type includes full and part-time positions with competitive compensation packages. Employees enjoy a broad range of benefits such as tuition assistance covering up to 100% for select degrees or up to $5,250 annually, free food during shifts, digital tips, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and more. These benefits support not only the physical well-being of the team but also their educational and financial growth.

Chipotle is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and can achieve their full potential. It is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. The company also provides reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process.

Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a values-driven, people-first organization that is reshaping the future of fast casual dining while making better food accessible to everyone.
