Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a renowned chain of fast-casual restaurants that is revolutionizing the fast-food industry by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, and real food made with wholesome ingredients. As a company committed to cultivating a better world, Chipotle rejects the conventional fast-food experience by shunning artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives to provide fresh, high-quality meals. With locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is unique among restaurant companies of its size in owning and operating all its locations in North America and Europe. This dedication to quality and authenticity has made Chipotle a leader and innovator in the food service sector, passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience on a daily basis.
Chipotle’s approach to business extends beyond just food; it is a values-driven, people-first establishment focused on fairness, inclusivity, and sustainable practices. The company is deeply committed to digital and technological advancements while fostering a workplace where all employees can thrive regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability status, or veteran status. Chipotle encourages qualified applicants from all backgrounds to apply and supports those with disabilities through reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
The role offered is an entry-level position within Chipotle's restaurant team, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about food, customer service, and career growth. Chipotle seeks enthusiastic team members to help prepare real food by hand every day, ensuring that no freezers, microwaves, or can openers are used in the food preparation process. This commitment to freshness means that every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities across various stations such as grill, cashier, prep, salsa, and expo.
This position is ideal for those who may have prior experience in food service roles such as dishwashing, cashiering, serving, hosting, bartending, cooking, or prep cooking — but it is equally suited to those new to the industry. Chipotle values a friendly, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for helping others, both customers and fellow team members. The company lays out a clear career path, with many managers promoted from within, providing extensive training and support to develop employees' skills and confidence across restaurant roles.
Employees at Chipotle enjoy numerous benefits designed to support both personal and professional growth. These include full tuition assistance for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free food while working, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, holiday closures, and competitive compensation. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, giving flexibility to fit a variety of lifestyles and schedules.
By joining Chipotle, employees become part of a company committed to shaping the future of food and farming, challenging old industry norms while fostering a friendly, vibrant workplace. Chipotle’s dedication to delivering high-quality food, excellent customer service, and a supportive work environment creates a unique and rewarding career experience. This role is perfect for those who want to grow, learn, and contribute to a company that values purpose, innovation, and community impact.
