Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain that is dedicated to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced and classically cooked real food made from wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. With locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle distinguishes itself by owning and operating all its restaurants in North America and Europe, which allows it to maintain high standards of quality and customer experience. Not just a restaurant, Chipotle is a leader and innovator in the food industry, consistently pushing the boundaries in digital engagement, technology implementation, and sustainable business practices, all while remaining committed to making healthier food options accessible to everyone.
Founded on the principle that fast food can transcend the typical expectations associated with the industry, Chipotle places a strong emphasis on fresh, real food prepared by hand every day, with no microwaves, freezers, or can openers used in its restaurants. The company takes pride in creating a friendly and engaging atmosphere for its guests, inspiring conversations about food and farming's future. This approach fosters a unique work environment where employees are valued for their enthusiasm and passion for service.
The opportunity at Chipotle is more than just a job; it is a chance to build a rewarding career. Many employees begin simply expecting a paycheck but discover a meaningful path with abundant opportunities for personal growth and advancement. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure that each team member feels confident at any station—whether grilling, cashiering, prepping, salsa making, or expo. With over 80% of Chipotle's managers starting as Crew members, the company demonstrates its commitment to internal promotion and career development.
Chipotle offers both full-time and part-time roles, making it a flexible employer for diverse needs. Benefits include tuition assistance covering up to 100% for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and competitive compensation. Digital tips and a supportive work culture are also key features of the employee experience.
Ideal candidates bring a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, a passion for helping and serving others—both customers and team members—and a strong desire to learn how to cook. The company values communication skills and requires that candidates be at least 16 years old and able to communicate in the primary language(s) of their work location. Chipotle is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fair employment practices, valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion, and providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
This role offers a unique chance to join a forward-thinking, values-driven company that has revolutionized the fast-food industry while fostering a culture of respect, growth, and meaningful work. If you are passionate about food, customer service, and a collaborative team environment, Chipotle welcomes your application.
